Volleyball Stats
There are two downloads available for
Volleyball Stats. The first is an upgrade from version 99-1 to version 2001.
This upgrade requires less memory to run, includes backup and restore functions on the
menu, and includes a file repair utility on the menu. It requires Windows 95 or
later. It will not run in Windows 3.x It must be installed over the existing
Version 99-1 program.
The second is an upgrade for Version
2001 which upgrades it to Version Three.2. This upgrade must be installed over
version 2001 or an earlier Version Three -- so if you are using version 99-1, you need to
upgrade to version 2001 before installing this update.
Upgrade From Version 99-1 to
Version 2001
This upgrade will replace only your
program files -- your data will remain intact.
Special Instructions for this
download:
Version 99-1 will need to be
installed on your computer before this download will work.
This is a large download (over 4 MB). If you have a slow computer or if you have
trouble with the download, Big G will send you an upgrade CD for ten bucks. Call
with your credit card or send me a check for $10 -- includes shipping.
If you are not sure you have the computer skills to follow this procedure, get a computer
person to help you or order the upgrade CD.
- Using the Windows Explorer, create a
folder on your computer into which to copy the download. I often use my initials
for the folder name -- GK
- Click on the VB2001Up.exe link below.
- Select the newly created folder on
your hard drive as the location into which to download the file. (GK, for example)
- Using the Windows Explorer, open the
new folder on your hard drive and double click on the VB2001Up.exe file. It is a
self extracting file. Unzip it into the same folder (new folder).
- After unzipping, double click on the
Setup.exe file, which will be in your new folder. It is the file which has a picture
of a computer for an icon.
- The Volleyball Upgrade install program
will run. If you get an option to uninstall the existing program, DO NOT DO IT --
you will lose your data. Instead, reinstall the program in the same folder as the
original. It will overwrite the program files, but preserve your existing data.
- You are now in business with your new
upgrade. You should see Version 2001 on the startup screen and in the "About
This Program" form under Help.
